Dark Laes is a half brother to the  probably best-known Arab-Friesian stallion

Yk Dark Danilo.  They are both out of the same, very athletic dam "Shiva". His sire is

Lolke 371. His foals were excellently rated in 2005. Lolke’s dam is from the same bloodline

as Adel 357, a Friesian stallion who competes successfully in dressage at the highest level.
