03.01.2007                                       Third Place for the AraboFriesian in Mechelen

FEI World Cup in Mechelen:  Schrijvers was given a second start by the judges after

they made a judging error. The multiple Belgian Champion took advantage of this

second chance and drove a nice clear round with his team of AraboFriesian-Sporthorses.

I am happy with my third place, it is just a pity that I don´t get any points for this result!

Schrijvers has one more start in Amsterdam and is looking forward to compete there: "I

see that my team is making progress. I hope for a place in the top three so I can qualify

for the Final. Luckily, Freund does not start in Amsterdam, so my chances are a bit

                                   bigger".

02. Dec. 2006        Indoor Stockholm    -        the AraboFriesian are placed at range 3.

                                 Text from "FEI World Cup/Driving

Belgium´s Gert Schrijvers was very pleased with this third place: "My horses were impressed

by the crowd yesterday and they hesitated a little bit, but today they went really well. I was

able to galopp through the course and unfortunately I just hit one ball because of the speed

and this cost me the second place. But I am making progress: Fourth in Stuttgart, third

in Stockholm, so I go for the second place in Mechelen and the first place in Amsterdam!"

                           Jokes the sympathic driver.
